The purpose of this page is to provide you (the customer) with information about us and the legal terms and conditions “Terms” on which we sell any of the products on our website “Our Site” to you. These Terms will apply to any contract between us for the sale of products to you and have been designed to ensure that both parties are fully protected. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before ordering any products from us. Our Terms and Conditions


Please note that throughout these terms we will refer to TRIBUS as “we” or “us” to avoid any confusion.

We keep these terms and Help pages updated and we amend them every so often. Not that we mean to be sneaky, but please do check back in before you shop because the latest set will apply.

We will amend these Terms from time to time, therefore we would recommend that every time you place an order using our site you take the time to carefully read through this page and understand that you are bound by terms at the point of ordering.

Our warranty


All watches purchased through our site are supplied with our warranty. This means that its movement and parts will be free from manufacturing defect for at least 3 years. For more information, please visit Our Guarantee and Warranty pages. This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights.


Product Descriptions


At TRIBUS we will always try to ensure that all product descriptions and prices are absolutely correct, however we understand that mistakes can happen and we must take human error into consideration. Should you place an order for an item and subsequently discover that there are inaccuracies or any information is not completely correct, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can rectify any issues. This may also result in the option of refunding/changing your order as necessary.



The total value of your order will be determined by the following: delivery option, the delivery address and/or delivery costs.

All additional charges will be clearly shown during the checkout process and included in the “Total Cost”. Please Note: Prices include VAT (where applicable).

The use of promotional codes and discounts


Please note that TRIBUS only allows one form of promotional code or discount, including our TRIBUS Rewards points, to be used per order. If you attempt to use more than one code or discount when making your purchase, you will be unable to checkout. If TRIBUS has offered a set discount on an item, this will be the only usable promotion available.




If you’re using Klarna to help pay for your order, please be aware it is only available to customers aged eighteen (18) years old or above, with any limits and options dependent upon respective models and values. To pay using Klarna, you’ll need to be able to pay the required monthly amount via Direct Debit for the length of time selected at checkout, along with a 10% deposit. You’ll need to provide both a mobile number, so that Klarna can contact you if necessary, and an email address, so that Klarna can send you your payment statement.

It’s important that you provide the correct details to ensure you receive the relevant payment information. Finance as a payment method is provided through our external partner, Klarna. If your application is successful you will enter into a Credit Agreement with Klarna. Finance is subject to status. From time to time, we may vary the terms of our finance offer at our discretion. To be eligible to apply for finance, you must be based in the UK and 18 or older. The card you use for payment must be valid and issued to you. Other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted. We reserve the right to withdraw finance on certain products at any time.

If you are a non-UK resident Splitit lets you use your existing credit to turn your payment into smaller instalments over a 6 month plan — with no interest, application, or fees.

Split/It uses your existing credit, therefore there are no credit checks that affect your credit score and make things complicated at checkout. Once the order is placed you will receive email confirmation about your credit agreement and be given access to your own Split/It portal to monitor your monthly plan.

At the time of purchase, once TRIBUS confirms the shipment, you will only be charged for the first payment. The remaining balance will be held on the credit card until the final payment is made. After each monthly payment, the amount held from the available balance will be reduced to the new remaining balance. *Note that the held amount might show as ‘pending transaction’ on your credit card statement.

We are pleased to offer postage paid worldwide delivery on all of our orders.

Being a watch brand, we understand that time is crucial. However, sometimes deliveries can become delayed due to factors outside of our control. Should any issues arise we will always try our best to keep you updated and provide the facilities to track the progress of your order.

Import Duty and Tax


As import duties and taxes can vary across the world, we suggest checking with your local tax or customs office for estimates.

Please be aware that should any import fees be requested on delivery, you will be liable for these charges.


What you need to know


In the world of watches, you can never be completely sold on your new purchase until you’ve seen it on your wrist. We understand this, therefore our returns policy allows you a full refund providing that the item is returned to us in its original condition, within 30 days of receipt. We accept returns for free, subject to the rules below:

If you request a refund and return the item within 14 days, we will provide a full refund via the original payment method.

We aim to process each refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Should you request a refund for an item within the above time frame but you cannot return it within the 14 day window, please get in touch via our customer service team. Please note, this will be at our discretion.

TRIBUS do NOT accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above.

Please note that if you’ve requested a refund, any TRIBUS Rewards points earned from the associated order will also be removed from your account as the refund is processed.

What happens to my return if I order using Klarna?


If you’ve placed an order with Klarna, it’ll take an extra couple of days to cancel, but you’ll still receive a full refund provided the item has been returned to our specification. If you cancel your order with any payments outstanding, once TRIBUS has received and processed the returned item, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due.

Original condition


All returned items should be sent back to us in their original condition together with the original packaging and all TRIBUS tags and certificates.

We have a dedicated team in Switzerland to thoroughly inspect all returned items. Any form of damage or scratches may result in your refund request being rejected, as well as any missing items or insignia. In some cases we may choose to reduce the refund amount to reflect the condition of an item should we deem it to be de-valued.

None of this affects your statutory rights.

Fair usage


Whilst we do not wish to, should we suspect any end user of returning orders having repeatedly worn them we will consider deactivating any associated accounts. If you wish to contest this please get in touch with Customer Services to rectify this.

If your account has been deactivated and you need to make a valid return, please contact Customer Services. They will give you a returns label and instructions. Please be aware that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

Please note: TRIBUS reserves the right to take legal action against you if the items you return do not correspond with the items that were ordered.


Your responsibility


By ordering any of our Products, you acknowledge that you are 16 years of age or older and you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

You must be able to provide a credit or debit card or payment option that we accept in order to process the payment; we currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay.

You must be authorised to use that credit or debit (e.g. you are named as the cardholder or you have permission to use it from the account holder)

Your legal rights


As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Products we sell to you on our site that are faulty or not as described. Nothing in these Terms will affect your legal rights.

Placing an order


All orders are subject to the usual pre-authorisation checks on your card, this is to ensure sufficient funds are available for the purchase. Once the order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.

We only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the required amount from the payment card. Once the payment has been taken, the contract is valid with these terms in place.

Should you wish to amend or cancel your order, this can be done, however the timings may depend on:

If your order has already been dispatched

Busy periods e.g. Christmas

Your chosen delivery method

Cancelling or amending an order


If we are unable to amend or cancel an order before it has been dispatched, we would need the item to be returned and back in our possession before we are able to fulfil the amendment or refund. Please see our Returns section for further information.

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We will be sure to notify you in the unlikely event of any delays or issues.

TRIBUS has the right to refuse or cancel an order, even if that order has been previously confirmed. There may be rare occasions where we must freeze an account or stop an order on the system, this is usually a preventative measure to reduce the risk of fraud. e.g. if we have identified something unusual in regards to a payment method or delivery address. In this instance we would notify you of the problem and the action required to proceed. You would then contact the customer service team, who would look to resolve this straight away.


Privacy policy


Our Privacy policy dictates how we will use customer information. All customers will have access to their own personal accounts and will be able to edit any relevant changes e.g. changes in address, payment information or marital names, all of this can be done by securely logging into “My Account” on our site. This function will also allow you to update any marketing preferences.

At TRIBUS, we love being able to interact with and chat to you through social media. However, we do not control the social media platforms or profile settings on them. Therefore we highly recommend that you set your privacy settings to your own specification and are comfortable with how personal information on those platforms will be used.

Linking to this website


We do not allow any commercial linking to tribus-watches.com that has not been pre-approved. Should anyone attempt this it could potentially damage or brand or contest our brand beliefs. If our website is featured or framed on any other site without our permission legal action may be taken.

Please Note: Do not post or feature any content that suggests TRIBUS endorses or approves without clearing it through the proper channels first. Failure to do so may result in legal action.

TRIBUS are always interested in collaborations and building partnerships with companies and individuals on social media and in person. On occasion we may offer our promotional services to feature content on our website or social media channels to generate exposure.
